In his sermon, the Apostle was clear with his message. Service to God shouldn’t have conflicting issues with money, he further explained. He clearly stated that the calling of God has a lot to do with dignity. “Titles and four wheel drives won’t save you when the creator comes.”
Apostle Yao Gomado urged members to flee from worldly desires and focus their attention on getting the congregation saved rather than living the life of the hypocrite. His address was centered on ministers who abuse their calling to commit atrocities in the house of the God.
The Eminent Apostle preached on saying “We are all men with weaknesses and it’s the word of God that strengthens us to do His will. We are not Jesus Christ, but we could at least follow his steps in the best manner we can.” The Apostle concluded his message by pleading with the congregation to serve the Lord with humility and do away with ungodly pride.
“The Purpose of our study is to gain Heavenly Divine Approval”
Addressing the congregation, Rev. Dr Ampiah Kwofie stated that the call to serve the Almighty should be with a sacred heart. Working for God is great. He warned that the church is not a place for match-making. The church should have a solid foundation and members must know why they come to church.
Preaching on the said “Nowadays if you hear a typical gospel message, you may think Jesus came to look for husbands for women or wives for men. Some also make us think the whole purpose of the people what they want materially.” He further cautioned attendees to study to please God, not man.
The powerful sermon from the preacher sent a word of concern to all believers that the notion to serve God is to hear the Almighty say to you “well done, thy good and faithful servant” when the hour comes.
Dignity can be achieved through Self Devotion to the Word of God
“The divine call is to serve the Lord with obedience, and He will give you guidance. We as men can’t do his work with our own intellect. We have to listen to the commandments of God and be obedient to His words.”
In a very short address, Rev. Dr. J.R.K Mensah cautioned all leaders in their various ministries not to stay from the purpose of their divine calling. He further explained that like Abraham, Preachers called to the service of God have the free will to adhere to the attributes of their call.

The founder of the Elim Evangelical Church and principal of the Elim Bible School and Elim Secondary and Technical School respectively, showed his appreciation to all delegates present and urged members off the association to the rules and regulations of the Holy Bible.
“We are leaders; we have to lead with humility”
The preacher gave a lengthy talk on how leaders in the fellowship of God should serve. He stated that leader must be the example for their followers. “The leader must have all the qualities to lead his flock. He should be visionary, a helper and a giver, an influencer and most importantly, must sacrifice to do the service of God.” Bishop Aryee also stated that the clergy should not use their titles to bully others.
They are awarded those titles because they duly served their purpose and therefore must use this to attract the multitude to do the will of the creator.
